Oil Boiler Servicing
It is very important to have your oil boiler serviced annually.
Some new boilers will be void of their guarantee if you cannot provide any previous annual boiler service certificates.
What is a service?
An oil boiler service is an annual inspection, clean and combustion check of the boiler to make sure that it is working efficiently and safely.
What we do

We will isolate the boiler and remove all the baffles so that they can be cleaned and all soot build up removed.

We will remove the burner from the boiler and replace the nozzle.

We will clean the spark electrodes and again remove any soot build up on the burner.

We will check the seals on the burner and burner chamber and replace these if necessary.

We then check the oil supply Flexi hoses and replace these if they show any signs of leakage or deterioration.

We check the flow rate of the oil, if it is not satisfactory then we will replace or clean any oil filters.

If the heating system is fitted with any filters or softeners then we will also check these.

Once we are happy that the boiler is clean and parts replaced we will complete a combustion check using our analyser to check the emissions and make sure your boiler is working efficiently and safely.

We will fill out an OFTEC certificate for the boiler service which you should keep safe in your records.
Our service price includes the replacement of the burner nozzle, however should you need any additional parts e.g Flexi hoses or oil filters these will be invoiced additionally.
